Although we are fully committed to satisfying our customers' requests, we have to be restrictive in terms of refunds in order to avoid unnecessary costs and efforts on both sides.
To be eligible for a return, the following conditions have to be met:
- The returned items have no signs of wear,
- The returned item must be in the original condition and packaging
- A valid receipt of proof of purchase from birdkids can be provided
- The return happened within the 14 days of purchase/reception of the item
- Downloadable software, gift cards and freight cost (for special delivery as requested by the buyer) are excluded from refunds
- The item was purchased for the regular price and not subject to specific discounts
Under certain circumstances only partial refunds might be granted:
- The returned item is not in its original condition
- The item is damaged or missing parts for reasons that are not due to our error
- Any item that is returned after more than 14 days after delivery
Returning the product
In order to return products to us, you must inform us (email@example.com) before shipping the product. We advise you to use the attached cancellation form to execute your cancellation. But you can use any form of clear and unambiguous declaration to inform us of your intent.

Once you have cancelled your order, we will pay back all payments received from you, inclusive delivery cost (exclusive of the cost incurred on you requesting a different than the standard delivery method) within 14 days of receiving your cancellation. We will use the same method of payment as originally used by you unless explicitly agreed differently. We will not charge you for the return of your payment.
We can still refuse the payment until we have received the goods or received proof of shipment from your side, whatever earlier. You are expected to return the goods to us immediately from the time of cancellation.
The return and cancellation are timely insofar as the returned products arrive with us within 14 days. We do not cover the cost of the return shipment. You will only be liable for an eventual loss in value of products if this loss is due to an action that is not justifiable by a check of condition, properties or functioning of the related products.
We will only replace items if they are defective or damaged as per our Warranty Policy.
